Managing Apple Photos with Cullibrate

Cull inside your Photos library, remove rejects, or export untouched keepers.

4 min read·Updated recently

Manage Apple Photos lets you cull inside your existing Apple Photos library. Nothing is copied into Cullibrate: the collection stays connected to the photos already in your library.

Delete as you go

  1. Open Manage Apple Photos and choose the part of your library you want to review.
  2. Cull the photos in Cullibrate and mark the frames you want to remove.
  3. Review the removal gallery, then confirm the batch in Apple Photos.

Rate first, then finish

If you prefer to decide before changing the library, rate photos as you review and finish the job from Handoff.

  • Export keepers as untouched originals for Lightroom, Photoshop, or Capture One.
  • Batch-remove rejects from Apple Photos after reviewing the complete removal gallery.

Work on copies instead

Choose Copy & Cull when you want to export originals from Apple Photos and work on copies while leaving the library untouched.
